It's bloody hot out here! I wish I was back in the stupid desert because at least even the meanest of apartments have a bloody air conditioner! Argh!

I was cooking myself dinner in the kitchen with the balcony door open when I heard what could have been 4 shots and then lots of people yelling from a nearby house/apartment. I suppose I should be excited about Anime Expo but, really, I'm just not sure I really care much anymore. I feel like a jaded elitist bitch as far as the jrock and EGL costumes go. I'm not exactly sure what this entails but I graduated college today with a Bachelors of Arts in International Studies with an emphasis in Asian Studies (ie I had to take 3 years of Japanese). One more week of school, finals week, and then... that's it. Done. I should have a pretty piece of paper that cost me thousands of dollars. Now, howsabout a job?

I'm wondering if because Virginia is so far away from California it might account for the apathy on this side of the coast. While going to school today it seemed that people knew about it but didn't have much to say and so said nothing.
